A setting set in modern times. angel is the young heiress to a major corporation with ties to crime. july is a government agent that takes on the guise of being her bodyguard while investigating her company. the story is rather high stakes with elements of suspense/action and so on.

disclaimer: story is largely not fleshed out sowwy...dynamic- ‘why is july a spy if shes so empathetic and its easy to get caught up with her client's troubles’ all her past clients were men and were all a lot more outright disgustingly evil than angel so now that she's got it in her head that angel is just a victim of circumstance she's really over her head- july is overall a very good person with a strong sense of whats good and bad so while i wouldnt go as far as to say she has a savior complex or similar, when angels right in front of her and just making really horrible pathetic decisions in life july really really wants fix her life. Its very hard for july to understand why angel does the things she does, there's a large gap- angel doesnt spend a lot of time with one person, let alone someone who is kind and good so she keeps a distance from july for a very long time (shes just a bodyguard she leaves when i stop paying her) but eventually its like well. angel does like being around someone who likes her for herself and not cuz she has money and does crazy shit with her friends- angel ends up liking july because she realizes there's no one else in her life who likes her. its very lonely. so she's just got this selfish love where she likes july for the affection she receives from her- angel is very closed off so i dont think she expresses affection for july until Late. very very late. she freaks july out/makes her uncomfortable as some weird test and also comes onto her strongly at times but its very devoid of authenticity. july refuses to sleep with her it would be a HR nightmare also it would probably be julys nightmare. but she thinks angel is pretty :) angel thinks july is simultaneously hot and pathetic- angel makes july confused on whats good and bad also. july thinks shes kind of sad and has been manipulated and neglected by a lot of people so shes not bad on purpose yknow…- but it is also like her sister is bad her company is bad her friends are the same level of insane rich bitches with daddy issues as angel. angels weird shit kind of butterfly effect’d a decent amount of innocents. so its very like ok the hot soggy bitch in front of u vs the dozens of faceless normies that have been screwed over. and in a way july wants to fix/reform angel so she is trying to justify picking both at the same time. her end game is that she wants to pull angel out of her current life situation completely and get her clean, and then clean up and bring to justice everyone else involved. which is very hypocritical but well- july ends up taking care of angel a lot due to the gaps in her general self awareness..? like angel just doesn't care about a lot of things but july cares if she eats and wakes up on time and gets exercise and stuff. particularly angel will stay in bed for a very long time unless july carries her outstory beatsangel backstoryher preferred weapon is a bat - likes the way it feels. used a wooden bat from when she played baseball w her sister and then it splintered and broke in her hands. this is probably symbolic or somethingsister is 16 years older. angels mom was young (20) when she had sister. 36 for angel. age gap is because sister was showing resistance to taking over the company so dad was like oh fuck try again 😭 sister wasnt very close w angel until angel was 3+ years old, then they were pretty affectionate and sister looked after angel. mom and dad were distant. sister lives at home for college, leaves to get her mba. so they were friends like from age 18-21, 3-6.angel is alone starting in grade school. shes a quiet kid. not particularly smart. sister doesnt like to come home bc theres nothing there, but she does warm up to taking the company and so when she is home shes locked in w dad talking business.angel was confined to the house growing up for some years. aging mother is the only family member shes close to.Both mom and dad eventually die in a planned car accident/assassination. Dad dies on the scene, mother lives for 6 more years going in and out of the hospital. Older sister takes over the company at a relatively young age (31), cleans up and hides a lot of things their dad did.angel and sister remain pretty distanced/cold to each other. angel gets living expenses paid for by sis and sis doesnt have other expectations of her. angel is the next heir in name but theres near zero chance she actually gets the company due to her lack of ambition and qualifications july's shit she's a spy whooo yayaya she gets assigned to angel because there's an empty bodyguard position and she can spy on her sister through angel.however, july is being set up a little. her coworker is running the organized crime circle with angels sister, and places july in this position since she's inexperienced. she monitors july in order to interrupt the flow of info if july ever uncovers something important. in the end she figures out about julys affection for angel and pretty much manipulates that to keep july complacent as welljuly thinks a lot about her place in society and duty, and a lot of her arc is about how she balances her personal wants and not crossing the moral linefriendship is magicthe whole rich gang hangs out a lot together (lyle neo angel are old friends, rain is added later, july tags along) and their dynamic is like, lyle and neo are very scummy and elitist, with very little concern for angel. they also look down on her since shes quite useless to her family's company, unlike them. they like to make angel pay for things and angel doesn't really care. rain is sympathetic to angel but doesn't talk to her much.july just kind of observes them, she didn't have the concern or audacity to interrupt them early on in her bodyguard career, but later on she's more outspoken about not liking what angel does with themetcbreaking point scene thats been trapped inside my head is that at some point angel just ends up on an absolutely miserable bender and when july finally gets to her shes in a bra and underwear in the cold and just covered in blood. and shes at some really fucked up dark alley or something. yeah. and july hurries to give angel her coat and wipes away some of the blood on her face and ask if shes alright.and angel is laughing and says shes fine. july just stares at her and asks why angel isnt upset when smth rlly bad happens to her. asks her why is she laughing isnt she sad isnt she upset. angel says shes fine. july asks what is wrong with you arent you mad i didnt come in time. and somewhere midway july is silently crying. and angel is impassiveand july just feels soo miserable for this girl who cant even recognize when bad things happen to her anymore and wants to shake her until something genuine comes out. and angel just doesnt get it anymore. she mocks july for crying and tells her to stop. july goes quiet and gets angel in the car to leave

disclaimer: story is largely not fleshed out sowwy...dynamicslaine has this imagined one sided rivalry with riev and really hates her for a really long time. like the loop and slaine resets and slaine will still come to hate her. shes not normal to riev until they start looping together and she gets some humanity out of riev. at that point though riev feels almost desperate to keep slaine hating her since shes come to expect it, and riev wants slaine to feel something towards her even if its hatred.riev and momo are in the loop and slaine and co are not. slaine is pulled into the loop halfway through. the rest of the girls are not looping and dont loop everfirst couple loops: slaine has residual memories, riev tries to feel out if she knows or not —> she doesnt know. slaine just gets more faster/easily irritated with riev every loop until like the last one before they loop together slaine is just like wow this face annoys me. why do i feel like this. i need to mail pipe bombs to her houseevery turn shes confused that riev acts more and more familiar and knows small details about her. It pisses her off more but riev doesnt really pick up on thatslaine wants to see emotion from riev. very frustrating to her. wants to see riev cry or yell or feel something. feels like shes lesser and vulnerable for the amount of emotion she shows while riev looks unaffected (shes not)i think they have conflicting methodologies on when to give up on a loop once they both start looping, riev is more individualistic and doesnt care about the others as long as the two of them get through. slaine is newer to looping and wont give up on at least bringing mya to the end as well.in earlier loops, i think riev just traps slaine at points. like uses her as bait, deliberately goes along with some momo scheme that kills slaine, etc, and slaine retains that residual dislike and mistrust through the next loops. riev is apathetic to pretty much everyone in the group for a while, and slaine thinks riev thinks shes better than her group..? which is probably true . theyre really pathetic.friendship is magicthe two general groups are slaine, domino, mya vs riev, momo, cianslaine's group is more rough and tumble, but they're making progress and they're generally a lot kinder in their decision makingmomo heads the other group, they are just blazing their path through and don't really care about who gets caught up in it.slaine and mya dont get along with cian because they think when she doesnt talk back to them that she doesnt like them (shes just too lazy to talk back she thinks theyre cute.. she just kind of does nodding and mumbling) they also just group her and momo as a single entity mostlycian gets along w riev… theyre both on the quiet side so its just like Telepathic understanding. cian also understands momo pretty well and momo depends on cian a lotriev goes from indifferent to really liking slaine, slaine goes from hating riev to indifferent to hmm.. a desperate acceptance...?momo and riev again have a strange relationship. they're related in origin and situation. their relationship is kind of one of necessity/circumstance..? they don't have a lot of strong feelings about eachother (anymore) but used to be close in their youth. grew apart and fell out and now live in indiffierence. but riev throws her lot in with them because she acknowledges momo's strength and intelligence. momo respects riev as well.momo and slaine haaaaate eachother, momo thinks slaine is an easy target and is constantly setting her up in petty and major ways. there is no real apparent reason for this, which infuriates slaine more. momo just likes punching down. mya thinks watching them go at it is funny (until it gets serious). riev cant be bothered. cian also thinks its business as usual.domino gets protected from momo's group by slaine and mya a lot. they generally dont let domino talk to them at all. when domino does get to talk to them, momo and cian both like kids so theyre like aw :) cian finally draws the line and doesnt let momo antagonize children though, and cian just kind of picks domino up and brings her around. domino really likes her. slaine and mya are panicked getting domino back and dont get why domino likes cian.domino is scared of momo and riev but plays it off like she isnt. sometimes riev gets caught up in it and is immature back to her. its a little cute. domino's favorite is slaine and mya is like her funny trainwreck aunt.story beatsstory conflict = what is rievs "end", what would break her loop, where are all the slaines from the separate lines going ...? there is going to be some supernatural aspect since i think momo and riev are going to be demons/otherworldly in some waysome of the loops i thought of...Before slaine is pulled in:
ONE LOOP: i think they have some scenario in this large empty castle and at some point its not possible to solve it. they have a time limit and theres just no way they make it in time. slaine is crying and riev pulls her up and wipes her tears and asks her if this is how she wants to spend her last moments. slaine gets angry and pushes her away but riev is being infallibly genuine.riev asks what she wants to do, and slaine is miserable and just tells her to shut up. riev is quiet as she thinks of an activity, and asks if she wants to dance. slaine angrily says theres no music, but shes taking off her shoes. theres a minute left on the clock, theyre dancing, slaine tells riev that she hates her but it doesnt sound like she means it. riev tells slaine she wishes she would remember her, next time. slaine asks what that means. the clock strikes 0 and they fail the scenario. the loop resets.ANOTHER LOOP: this one is probably pretty early, before the dance loop. slaine dies earlier in the scenarios, maybe due to something momo set up. the rest of their group quietly follows in the next few scenarios. riev continues on alone. she gets a few scenarios finished.her current scenario is set in a rather cold and dark landscape. she sits in the snow and wonders if this is an existence worth continuing. she realizes she misses slaine. I think shes still a pretty individualistic person, so its not like she wants to go back and save slaine, but shes just lonely doing these worthless scenarios by herself. she decides that she wont continue without slaine in the future unless its only a few scenarios to the end. she lies down in the snow and lets herself die of hypothermia. the loop resets.YET ANOTHER LOOP PROBBALY> IDFK.: this is probably getting to the end of loops where slaine forgets... slaine is given the choice at the end of a scenario where she can take on an additional mission and it will ensure riev gets out safely. slaine is beaten up and barely made it out herself. momo and riev get to observe her decision from where theyre working on the scenario.momo mocks riev and says theres no way slaine will help her, she doesnt even lkke riev. riev is quiet. slaine chooses not to go back in. momo laughs but riev smiles faintly and says shes proud of her, this was the choice she wanted. momo calls her sentimental and boring, riev shakes her head and says that while she gets infinite tries this specific slaine gets one. she should cherish her own lifeAfter slaine is pulled in/during??:
theres a scenario this round where theyre pitted against eachother. its literally just a 1v1 fight. slaine doesnt want to kill riev, but she doesnt know riev all that well at this point and has a bad impression of her (this is the last loop where she starts it without memory of the past loops) and she tries to get the upper hand and dispatch riev immediately. it doesnt quite kill riev.slaine sinks to her knees and watches rievs chest continue to rise and fall. she knows she should put her out of her misery but she cant move. rievs hand is twitching trying to find slaine and comfort her. riev knows she will reset and try again, knows this version of slaine has only one chance, has a good reason to leave this place. after riev dies the loop resets.start of the next loop, slaine still remembers, riev instantly knows she remembers because her expression is still the same. gets to tell her that its not her fault, it was the best decision to make. next time kill her faster. riev mentions slaines mother and slaine asks how she knew, riev tells her shes been living this over again longer than slaine has. Slaine is still wrapped up in her own emotions, shes a little numb at this point and reconsidering her opinion of riev.tells her it mustve been hard. (riev smiles for the first time in the series its sooo cheesy whatever i dont care) slaine probably at this point is trying to get over the built up hatred of riev. she still doesnt like her.ending (its so long
both live and escape, slaine gives up her memories of riev as the final solution to the last puzzle. this puzzle is always the last puzzle. riev gives up her status as a demon and becomes a Real Girl (MAYBE)??? riev doesnt know what slaines given up, she goes on ahead.when they get out riev is congratulating her and slaine is just staring at her like shes insane. when riev understands she just leaves the whole situation and flees. shes been so scared that slaine would feel nothing towards her at all, and in the end this is the ending that has been chosen for her.slaine is so confused. She goes home to her mother and lives a quiet life. she keeps dreaming of vague memories of the torture labrinyth and cant stop thinking that riev must have been important, that she wasnt some crazy person on the street.riev lives for a while in this reality. shes so lonely, she has nothing to do. this world is foreign to her. she wonders if she can reset, and she kills herself again in the bathroom. wakes up back in the torture labyrinth.slaine of the last loop remembers riev got to the end but nothing after, her memory of the last loop ends when she lost her memories. she asks why riev came back, what is waiting here for her. is the ending so bad, that you have to keep coming back here, over and over? riev tells her with an achingly sad expression that the ending was fine, it was what came after. she wont tell slaine anything else.riev sees that blank expression again when she gets to the end again, slaine begs her to tell her what comes after once riev has come back from reaching the ending 5 times, 10 times. riev finally tells her. theyre close enough at this point, their memories building up from all the loops.slaine tells her this time, if theres no changing it, to make it to the end and continue forward. she believes she will come to know riev again, just be there for her. the scenarios feel oddly easy this round.slaine forgets again. riev talks to her like a stranger, slaine treats riev like a stranger. riev thinks, this isnt the same person, it doesnt matter what slaine said before. she has been rebuilt without the pieces that know riev. she cant intrude on her life on the basis that she knew some other person who looked like slaine.(i dont know how 2 end this for now assume they are strangers forever and maybe riev does demon magic to have a harem of cute slaineys from the previous loops haha. im joking. unless.)
